Something about selflove and love for details

I've talked about this before, but I can not say it enough. It is so important to speak loudly to learn to love our bodies.

Recently, I shared my story about my journey to accept my body and love it just the way it is. It has been a long and hard battle, but I ended up winning - along with my body. I do not want to be fighting with my body, but being friends with it. And for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm about to get there.

That, and more, you can read in my body journey HERE.

Today, on the occasion of Valentines Day, I want to strike a blow for accepting his body as it is.

I want to remind you to remember yourself, do things that make you happy, and take care of yourself.

To me, there is no greater declaration of love for myself than my homemade clothes. So much time and energy has been put into every piece of clothing; it's love then, do not you think? I think!

I have said it before, and I repeat it: it is NOT you who has to fit the clothes, but the clothes that have to fit YOU. There is nothing wrong with your body because you do not fit into the standard sizes sold in high-street stores. What is wrong with this is how we, through the fashion image and the media over the last many years, have believed that there is only one real kind of body. It does not. This is also why when you sew your clothes with me, you do not sew size 42, but you sew a size YOU.

To show myself some extra love through my clothes, something that I do is play around with details. I talked a bit about it HERE that details are something that really for my heart to beat fast - in a good way.

Today I want to share a bit old guide with you. This is how to add fringe to your No. 8 Svaneke blouse.

No. 8 Svaneke is a pattern and set that you love, and many new followers have come along. Therefore, I would like to strike a blow for remembering to check out the "tips and tricks" categories under each pattern.

When I highlight this guide today, it is 1) because I think it fits well, in this with adding details for extra love, and fringes are then something so beautiful! But also 2) because I came across these pictures of Pia Storm in this gorgeous Svaneke set and just had to share them one more time.

I hope you have a great day, whether you celebrate Valentine or not. In any case, I hope you take a little extra care of yourself. You deserve it!

Thank you for your time; now, I want to go back to the winter vacation (we have that in DK) and have fun with my daughter.
