Free pattern No. 00 Danmark: Sailor stribes with an open sleeve

 

Look at this. The No. 00 in a new version, and I must say I like it a lot. I think a blouse like this is a must in your summer wardrobe.

This blouse is made from french terry fabric, and I have made it with only the bust dart to make it look more like a t-shirt.

You will need

Fabric - preferably like a french terry

  • Size EU. 32 to 40 - 0.9 m

  • Size EU 42 til 48 - 1.4 m

  • Size EU 50 til 54 - 1.5 m

Thread 

Sewing

  1. Sew the darts on the front piece according to the markings on the pattern piece. Press the darts upwards.

  2. Sew the shoulder seams, with the right sides together.

  3. Sew the side seams, with the right sides together.

  4. Fold the sleeve pieces on the long sing side, wrong sides together and sew the two shorts ends. Turn and press.

  5. Overlock

    • Shoulder seams, both layers together

    • Side seams, both layers together

    • The bottom all way round

  6. Pin and sew the sleeves in. the slit is placed at the shoulder seam.

  7. Sew the neckband as shown in the picture below

  8. Overlock

    • Sleeve seam all layers together

    • neck seam all layers together

  9. hem the blouse with 2 cm.
