1 skirt, 3 outfits

My wardrobe means a lot to me. It's a mirror of who I am and what I'm feeling. Some days I'm dressed "calm", and other days I'm dressed as a rainbow.

I'm not afraid to play around with my clothes, mix and match in new ways and make combinations I've never tried before.

I like to experiment and take one piece of clothing and let it be the centre of 3 or more outfits. It makes me creative, and often that leads to good results. I take pictures of the combinations so that I won't forget them. And that's exactly what I've done here.

I've taken a purple skirt I've made from the No. 5 Århus pattern and let it be the centre in 3 different outfits.

  1. The first outfit is a safe choice and very classic. It's just matched with a withe long sleeve and a black cardigan—the perfect outfit for everyday wear or a cold summer day- or night.

2. The second outfit is all about colour - this is the kind of outfit where I've experimented. This is an outfit where I feel at home and comfortable; it's colourful, full of details and fits my body perfectly and comfortably. Long story short, this is me in an outfit when I'm in my best mood.
The colours are very bold, but they match together because of the colours kind of have the same tone. Top it with the perfect amount of gold details.

The top is actually also a No. 5, just as a top, mixed and paired with a sleeve from No. 8 Svaneke. Read more about how I did it HERE

3. Last but not least is an outfit where I feel so feminine and elegant. I've used the skirt as a strapless dress. I would never wear the dress without a jacket or blazer; that doesn't suit my body type. But with a light coat in the same monochrome colour, it just creates a beautiful homemade and well-fitted outfit.

The jacket is our newest sewing pattern No. 22 Tangier
