It's all about the personal styling

Today I want to inspire you on how to make a dress your own.

It's no secret that I love vintage, and I'm inspired by the vintage universe, both in my sewing patterns bot also in my personal styling. And I also know that that's not for everyone, so I want to show you how a single dress can change completely. It all depends on the styling.

Remember: It's not about if the clothing is vintage or not - It's all about giving the clothes your personal style - then I almost believe all clothing can fit into all wardrobes.

Today I made Sofie, my marketing-girl, wear a mix&match dress of No. 1 Dragør and No. 6 København - one of my favourite combinations to make - READ MORE.

The first outfit is Sofie's own choice. Here you see how a 22-year-old young woman would style a vintage dress: sneakers, a chunky knit and long, loose hair. It brings the dress down to earth and makes it ready for a summer day in the danish weather.

The second outfit brings some contrast to the light coloured summer dress. The black ribbon in the waist and the black shoes and red lipstick gives it a dramatic look to a romantic summer dress. This outfit you can wear out for dinner to a fancy summer party - maybe change into your stilettos and dress up even more with dramatic jewellery.

The last outfit is my favourite of the three. We have styled it vintage all the way. We styled the dress with a beautiful, voloumious hat, an old, delicat belt, beautiful vintage-vibe shoes and of curse a real vintage bag. I love everything about this look; I just had to say that. It's fun, read for a good party, down to earth, personal, and it just screams "summer."
