How i recharge this summer
We are excited to present our second summer bundle: "Summer on the Terrace." This bundle is carefully put together with two sewing patterns I am sure I will be wearing this summer.
As I wrote in my last blog post, we are staying home in Denmark this year. This summer, we plan to spend much time on our terrace as we build a new wooden deck in the garden. If the weather shows its best side, there is no better place for me to be than at home in the garden. Here, I can enjoy knitting and creative projects, good books, practical, cosy projects, good coffee, and guests for lovely summer dinners.
I don't need grand adventures in the summer. The Danish summer can be incredibly magical, even though the weather can be unpredictable and inconsistent. I often recharge best when I am at home. I love exploring and experiencing new things, don't get me wrong, but I usually need some time to "digest" the impressions from vacations full of activities, which often leave me tired and need a few days at home in the garden. That's why I'm especially looking forward to my summer vacation this year, where I'll have plenty of time to be in the garden while recharging in my own way.
Our "Summer on the Terrace" bundle is designed to give you comfort and style while you enjoy the summer at home.
The No. 21 Casablanca dress is perfect to throw on, and then your whole outfit is sorted. It is comfortable, beautiful, and airy for warm days. Having guests over for dinner on the terrace would also be perfect in this outfit.
No. 27 Berlin is among my "hidden favourites" of my sewing patterns. It can be made in different materials and lengths. I have a short version in a heavy fabric that I use as a blazer, and then I have the softer one, which I can throw over my shoulders if I need a little cover. It is precisely for this reason that it is included in this pack. It will be perfect for sitting and reading in the shade or throwing over your shoulders when it gets chilly in the evening.
This pack is perfect for relaxation and cosiness on the terrace. The two patterns are practical and beautiful and suit a wide range of summer activities. Whether you are building something like what we are reading, knitting, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee, you will feel comfortable and look fantastic.
