Outfits with Rønne vest

Earlier this week, I shared my free guide on making No. 9 Rønne into a beautiful (and for me) warm vest in wool.

I came to think that it might be a little hard to see the potential that is in the vest when it went in one with the dress it was on top off. So that was actually what I made the vest for. I had actually thought I would only get it used with the dress as an extra layer for every day.

But then I started playing around a bit in my wardrobe - so I recommend doing so if you feel that you are a bit "stuck" in what you have. So I did, and I tried it on in different ways.

It has become 3 outfits where the expression is entirely different from the vest. I look forward to showing you through the 3.

Vest and dress in one
This is the outfit I showed you on Monday when I published the guide and how the vest was always intended. It is No. 23 Marrakesh dress in light grey wool, the same as the vest. It gives more life to the dress than to the vest, as it looks like it just goes into one clothing item. But I can also feel that this outfit has been good to have this winter as it is two layers of wool on top of each other, and Denmark is cold in the winter! So it keeps me nice and warm all day. You can see the rest of the pictures in the previous blog post together with the guide HERE.

Vest over shirt
I have to say that this styling came as a bit of a shock. I would never have thought of it myself if it were not for the fact that I was playing in my wardrobe and putting unthinkable things together - and when I think about it when I see it now, then it was not unthinkable at all, but quite lovely in my opinion. One of the reasons I had not considered this styling, with a shirt underneath, is that I had only thought of the vest as closed. But in this styling, I have left it open, making it completely different. It really is a nice outfit for every day in the office, but not too stiff, as the shirt with puff sleeves gives a little life.

Vest for party
I always find it challenging to dress for parties in the winter, which is a shame when my birthday is in January. I think dresses often get less festive with stockings underneath (it's fine for everyday use), and often it's too cold for much else. But then I came up with this outfit, and I am simply completely in love with it. It's sexy but mature. It is sensual and comfortable. It is elegant and classic. It is so many things at once! And then I love the detail with the bare shoulder just peeking out. It really has become a go-to festive outfit because the vest keeps me warm. It is here just styled with one on classic black trousers - and then you can put on stilettos or boots, depending on what you like most.
