And the winner are.....
Last week we had a competition on Instagram. You had the opportunity to make changes to the No. 26 Hamborg shirt, and I would make the winner into a design and a guide for you so you could sew thedesign for yourself.
You had so many great ideas on how to hack the sewing pattern No. 26 Hamborg shirt, and I was overwhelmed by all the responses. The one I chose, in the end, was the idea to make the shirt into a shirt-dress with balloon sleeves because I think it was the idea that was most true to the DNA of the shirt, however, with a cute twist. The long balloon sleeves can be used with visible cuffs and with the cuffs folded inside the sleeves. The last one is my favourite.
I have made this in both viscose satin and chiffon. They are very different materials, one is with a heavy drape, and the other is thin with a light drape. Both are beautiful and very different.
I am so in love with this dress made by No. 26 Hamborg.
