MIX AND MATCH NO. 6 & NO. 7
The guide to make this jumpsuit
You will need the following pattern pieces for this jumpsuit
No. 7 Vanløse - Pattern piece F and G
Cut in fabric
No. 6 København - C, D and E
Cut in fabric
Pattern piece C & D also cut in lining
Prepare the pattern
First, you need to extend the pattern pieces for the bodice like this.
Extend CB and CF by 2 cm.
Extend the side seam by 0.5 cm.
Draw a nicely curved line from the two extended points
2. Fit the waistline from the bodice to the trousers
To make the waist seam of the bodice and the trousers the same, you have to adjust a few things.
The bodice's waistline is approx. 2.5 cm bigger than the trousers- however, the difference is only on the back piece.
Remove 1 cm from the CB – NOTE! This pattern piece is now on fold CB.
Remove 1.3 cm from the bottom for the side seam and end in 0 at the top.
Measure both waistlines to make sure they fit.
FITTING:
We recommend that you always make a muslin before you cut the fashion fabric, to make sure your finished style will fit you perfectly. Find the fitting guide right here.
