HOW TO MAKE THIS DRESS

You will need the following patternpieces

No. 1  Dragør -patternpiece A, B og C 

  • Cut in fabric

  • Cut in lining

No. 6 København - patternpiece A, B, G & H

  • Cut in fabric on fold

 

Extend the 3 front pieces with 5 cm A and B No. 1 and A No. 6

Fitting

We recommend that you always make a muslin before you cut the fashion fabric, to make sure your finished style will fit you perfectly. Find the fitting guide right here.

  • Eu 32-40 1,75 m

  • Eu 42-54 2 m

Lining

  • Eu 32-40 0,4 m

  • Eu 42-54 0,7 m

Invisible zipper 40 cm

Sewing

  • Follow the instruction here from point 1-7

  • Fold the two front pieces, Bodice and skirt at the center front line to create a visible fold. This will be your “button placket.

  • Follow the instruction here from point 8-15

  • Sew the darts on the back, right sides together. Press towards center back.

  • Sew CB seam, right sides together. Sew from lower notch up to 5 cm before upper notch.

  • Make a gathering thread between the first and the last notch in the waistline to create gatherings in stead of pleats.

  • Follow the instruction here from point 8-17

  • Follow the instruction here from point 29-32

  • Sew in the buttons in the “placket”
